Baggs whose real name is Joseph Randal McNally, is a feisty young man of dubious linage. Though no one but his mother (Daphne McNally) knows who his father is, it is widely speculated that his father was a traveling Halfling bard. This is mostly due to the fact that Baggs is noticeably shorter than the other boys and has a talent for dancing and singing. Always quick to press his luck in most any situation Baggs is prone to show off; this has earned him a reputation with the local guard, and parents of Winton as a trouble maker, the other children however see him as a celebrity, the kid who will do anything.
